Join Us on a Joint Sustainability Journey
We first certified our company according to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 in 2013. We have worked with sustainability and quality improvements step by step, initially with tentative steps, and over time with more clear, concrete measures. We have taken many measures to improve our own impact. We have now reached a phase where we find it difficult to take bigger steps without joint activities with customers, end-customers and suppliers.
Therefore, we would like to invite you to cooperate, where we join hands to achieve positive sustainability effects for all parties. Below we will describe more about what we have done, are doing and would like to do.

he major effects can be found upstream and downstream
In the fire sprinkler industry, the workflow looks simplified as shown in the illustration below. We in the manufacturer category, are dependent on what happens “upstream” and “downstream”, in earlier and later stages of the value chain. We would therefore like to find and implement joint measures.

Projects we would like to collaborate on
We would like to invite you to collaborate and meet you in workshops to find common development areas within sustainability that both parties can benefit from. Here are some ideas on what it could be about:

Reduce transport
Let us help each other to reduce one of the biggest causes of greenhouse gas emissions in Sweden.

Environmentally classified products
Cooperate in developing EPDs and other similar product classifications.

Circular flows
Look at common opportunities for reuse, recycling, energy efficiency, etc.

Save water
How can we work together to find measures to reduce water use?

Reduce transport during inspections
Let us try remote inspection of facilities, as a new way of working.

Your dream project
What project would you like to collaborate on?

Thank you Bravida, for being a role model
A customer/partner of ours who works proactively to reduce climate impact along the value chain is Bravida, and their Fire&Security division We really appreciate having a customer who sets demands, has professional knowledge, and also challenges us on certain issues. Thank you Bravida, that you invite us in your work! We see you as a good example in the Swedish sprinkler industry. We take inspiration from you and we highly recommend other companies to follow what you do.
Our impact and our implemented actions
We operate three types of business: Manufacturing, Installation and Service. In addition, of course, we have administration and support functions to the core operations. We can find opportunities in the three main processes. Our greatest climate impact is from transport and the purchase of components.
Since we began our environmental work and introduced a structured approach to sustainability, we have worked on sustainability issues step by step. The focus has been primarily on our own impact.
We have taken several measures over the years, among them:
- We moved our business to a new modern building built in 2020, with very low energy consumption.
- We have our own repair workshop, to recycle products and extend the lifespan.
- Our diesel sprinkler pumps are powered by EcoPar, a fuel produced from natural gas.
- All our service vehicles can run on HVO or EcoPar.
- We offer electric car charging for company cars and visitors.

The environmental impact of our products
First of all, our products/solutions already have a very positive sustainability effect, as they protect valuable assets from fire and damage. If they did not exist, large values would have to be manufactured and rebuilt, with a major impact.
Similarly, the very long lifespan of our products enables a positive impact. Our sprinkler pumps and tanks normally last 25 years, if they are cared for correctly.
We have classified products environmentally, according to the Swedish standard “Sunda Hus” and “Byggvarubedömningen” for a number of years. Now, requests to EPD-classify our products have started to appear in procurement documents. This is an extensive work – read more below – and we do it step by step in line with customer and market requirements, and in collaboration with customers and suppliers.

Our latest sustainability measures
We are proud of our latest measures, which have taken us and our customers another step forward. In addition to this, we have hired a quality and environmental coordinator, and we are currently re-certifying our business according to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. This is a way to take our sustainability work to the next level.
Solar cells on customers’ pump houses
We offer a fully assembled solar cell system for our pump houses, which makes them self-sufficient in electricity. It contains 15 monocrystalline panels installed on the sprinkler pump house. The solar cells are connected to a 6 kW inverter. The inverter is placed in a suitable location in the pump center.
Environmental reporting according to the GHG protocol
We annually report climate change according to the GHG protocol (Greenhouse Gas Protocol) within Scope 1, 2 and 3 to our group (Lagercrantz Group). We also carry out annual follow-up via Self Assessment regarding, among other things, the company’s risks and opportunities. Read more about the sustainability work at the Lagercrantz Group below.

Transport with environmentally friendly fuels
Several of our transport companies offer the option of using electricity, biogas or HVO as fuel, if this is requested by customers. Contact us and we will look into your specific case.

Re-certification in progress
Right now we are working on a re-certification. We are building on our existing structure and working methods for sustainability (founded 2013) and taking them to the next level. It involves the entire operation and is supported by consulting expertise. In 2026, we plan to renew our certificates within ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
Our view on sustainability
Vi har en vid syn på hållbarhet: Miljömässig, Ekonomisk och Social. Hållbarhet för oss innebär:
- Environmental responsibility – We strive to reduce our climate impact through smarter resource use, energy-efficient solutions and conscious choices of materials and suppliers.
- Economic sustainability – By working efficiently and with a focus on quality, we build long-term relationships and create stable results.
- Social responsibility – We want to be a safe and fair employer where the work environment, safety and diversity are in focus, and that we contribute to a safer society.
By working long-term, responsibly and resource-efficiently, we not only create value for our customers today, but also for future generations.

Our goals this year
In our company’s business plan, we have set goals how to reduce our climate impact. For the current financial year, this means:
- Investigate the possibility of reducing the climate impact of steel for tanks
- Reduce the climate impact by 3% from transport and heating of the property

Our owners’ sustainability work and reporting
Sustainability and long-term perspective are central to our owner Lagercrantz Group. Focusing on sustainable products and solutions creates competitiveness and growth, for customers, for Lagercrantz and for society at large.
Lagercrantz has a Code of Conduct that all employees in the subsidiaries must read and follow. The purpose is to provide guidelines how employees, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders should be treated in a legal, fair and ethical manner.
The Group’s corporate governance in this matter means, among other things, that subsidiaries must annually
- do climate reporting according to the GHG Protocol (Greenhouse Gas Protocol) within Scope 1, 2, 3
- follow-up via a self assessment to ensure the company’s risks and opportunities
Please read more about Lagercrantz Group’s view on sustainability on their website and take part in their sustainability report where the Group’s joint sustainability work is presented.
